Coprolith - Putrescence
Genre: Death Metal / Death-Doom
About: Coprolith is a five-piece death metal band from Toronto, Canada, formed in 2023. The band's 2023 debut demo was released on vinyl by Me Saco Un Ojo Records and Rotted Life Records, and Putrescence marks their debut full-length, released jointly by those same two labels. Musically, the record draws on early-'90s death metal touchstones like Grave, Demigod, and Incantation, blending doom-laden heaviness with old-school death metal songwriting. Mortem - Mørketid
Genre: Black Metal
About: Mortem is a Norwegian black metal band originally formed by Marius Vold and Steinar "Sverd" Johnsen in 1989, predating and later feeding into Arcturus; their early "Slow Death" demo was produced by Euronymous and featured Dead of Mayhem on cover art and Hellhammer on session drums. After decades of dormancy, the band returned with 2019's debut full-length Ravnsvart. Mørketid is their second album, released via Peaceville Records, and features current/former members of Arcturus, Thorns, Mayhem, and 1349. The album combines brooding, mid-paced riffing with bursts of hyperspeed black metal, layered with keyboard textures from Sverd and recorded at Toproom Studio in Norway. Listen on Spotify.
Hellionight - Witches' Sabbat
Genre: Black/Speed/Thrash Metal
About: Hellionight is a band from Bahrain drawing on the raw energy of '80s speed metal. Witches' Sabbat is their debut full-length, comprising eight tracks of black-infused thrash and speed metal delivered with an aggressive, high-intensity edge. The band previously appeared on the Studio 77-issued live compilation Metal! Live in Bahrain Vol. 2, which included earlier versions of several tracks now featured on this album. Listen on Spotify.
Crime Zone - Beach Thrash
Genre: Thrash Metal
About: Crime Zone is a thrash metal band from Trondheim, Norway, formed in 2024. The band's debut release, the Urban Hell EP, arrived in 2025, establishing their crime-and-violence-themed take on thrash. Beach Thrash follows as their newest release, leaning into a surf-inflected take on the genre. Listen on Spotify.
Mouflon - Eros & Thanatos
Genre: Death/Doom Metal
About: Mouflon is a death/doom metal band from Arnhem, Netherlands, formed in 2012. The band built its catalog through early demos before releasing full-lengths Devastations (2019) and Pure Filth (2022), along with a split EP with Grim Fate in 2024. Eros & Thanatos is their third full-length album, released via Iron Fortress Records, with lead single "The Divine Wind" preceding the release. Listen on Spotify.
