Avarice – Perpetual Ruin

About: Avarice are a melodic death/thrash metal band from Aarhus, Denmark, originally formed in 2006. After a lengthy hiatus, the band returned in 2021 and released their self-titled debut full-length in 2023, re-establishing their presence in the Danish metal scene. Perpetual Ruin is their sophomore album, continuing their blend of crushing thrash riffs, melodic death metal sensibilities, and lyrical themes centered on antiquity, morality, and the darker impulses of human nature. Scordatura – Led into Oblivion

About: Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2007, Scordatura have spent nearly two decades honing a technically edged, uncompromising brand of death metal across a catalog that includes their 2020 album Mass Failure. Led into Oblivion is their fourth full-length, and according to the band, their most focused and direct work to date — stripped of excess and built around a concept exploring humanity's slow march toward its own doom through technology and artificial intelligence. Genre: Death Metal

About: Hamburg, Germany's Endseeker formed in 2014 and built a reputation through a string of critically praised releases, including the 2021 breakthrough Mount Carcass and 2023's Global Worming, both rooted in Swedish-influenced HM-2 riffing and punk-fueled energy. Coffin Born is a five-track farewell EP and the band's final release, capping over a decade of activity with the same original lineup intact. No Light Shall Remain is their second full-length, arriving over a decade after their debut, and represents the fullest realization of that evolution — fast, riff-driven, and anchored in old-school death/thrash traditions without chasing modern production trends.
