Temple of Dread - Dreadspawn Dominion

Genre: Death Metal

About: Temple of Dread hail from the East Frisian island of Spiekeroog, Germany, and were founded in 2017 by guitarist Markus Bünnemeyer with the goal of playing old-school death metal. Originally a trio, the band has grown into a five-piece, with Dreadspawn Dominion marking their sixth studio album for Testimony Records. The band continues to draw on classical mythology and underworld imagery for its lyrics, penned by longtime collaborator Frank "Doc" Albers, and builds on the darker, heavier direction explored on predecessors Beyond Acheron (2023) and God of the Godless (2024). Vertiginous - Incessant Affliction

Genre: Brutal Death Metal

About: Vertiginous is an Indonesian brutal death metal duo from East Java, consisting of multi-instrumentalist Hendika Dwi Prasetyo and vocalist Jossi Bima. Incessant Affliction is the band's second full-length, following their 2024 debut Reek Of Putrefaction On Excruciating Lust, and is released through Comatose Music. The album explores themes of madness, suffering, and despair across ten tracks, and was mixed and mastered at Endless Gruesome Studio with cover art by Timbul Cahyono (Bvllmetalart). SAROF - Via Discendi

Genre: Melodic Death Metal

About: SAROF is a melodic death metal band from Lappeenranta, Finland, founded in 2016. The band combines crushing rhythms and guitar melodies with harsh growls and screams. Via Discendi follows the band's 2018 EP Mark of Us and 2019 full-length debut Force of Will, and is released independently. Listen on Spotify.

Violence System - The Hollowing

Genre: Symphonic Deathcore

About: Violence System was founded in 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia, by guitarist Joshua Curl and vocalist John Dernar, initially as a studio project before expanding into a full band. The group released its debut EP Instinct in 2016 and debut full-length Gehenna in 2019, building a reputation in the Atlanta scene and sharing stages with acts like Exodus, Kataklysm, and Fallujah. The Hollowing, released via Dark Sails Entertainment, is the band's long-awaited follow-up to Gehenna. Listen on Spotify.

BrainBath - HeadHunted

Genre: Old School Death Metal

About: BrainBath are a death metal band from Glasgow, Scotland, playing old-school death metal "forged in the spirit of the 80s." HeadHunted is the band's debut full-length album, following a self-titled 2022 debut release, and arrives via vinyl and digital formats with cover art by Indonesian artist Ahot.74 (Ravenblast, Syn Absence). The band marked the album's release with a hometown show in Glasgow alongside Repuked, Death Collector, and Grave Ghoul. Listen on Spotify.

Gravecrawler - Nidus

Genre: Death Metal

About: Gravecrawler is an extreme metal act formed in the suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden in the summer of 2019, blending the groove of old-school Swedish death metal with the atmosphere of '90s black metal and a touch of slam. The band self-produces all of its material as part of a DIY ethos, and released a string of demos — Chapter I: Abominations, Chapter II: Blood Rites, and Chapter III: Fallen Kingdoms — along with the compilation Anthology: The Horrors Unleashed before arriving at Nidus. Nidus is the band's debut full-length, a concept album chronicling tales from a dying world, with fans of Bloodbath, Grave, Incantation, Naglfar, and Devourment cited as a reference point.
